Job Overview

As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete surfaces. You will work on a variety of projects including floors, paving, sidewalks,  foundations, and large-scale commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pour, level, and smooth concrete using hand and power tools.
• Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, edging, and texturing.
• Set and align forms for floors, paving, foundations, and more.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust finishing techniques accordingly.
• Operate concrete tools and equipment, including screeds, floats, and trowel machines.
• Repair and resurface old or damaged concrete structures.
• Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean job site.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Maintain and inspect tools + equipment for optimal performance and safety compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a concrete finisher.
• Strong knowledge of concrete pouring and finishing techniques.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and concrete finishing equipment.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
• Valid driver`s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate and work with a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Adherence to safety regulations and company policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in concrete finishing or heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, construction plans, and job specifications.
• Experience with skid loaders & other construction equipment.
• OSHA certification and other relevant safety training.
