Job Overview

The Commercial Concrete Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing the daily on-site operations of commercial concrete construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of concrete construction, and the ability to coordinate crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
• Oversee and coordinate labor, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to maintain efficiency and productivity
• Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards
• Ensure quality control by monitoring workmanship, inspecting materials, and resolving issues as they arise
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to maintain project schedules and budgets
• Conduct site meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate updates to all relevant parties
• Identify potential risks or project delays and implement solutions to mitigate them
• Operate total station instruments for accurate layout and as-built documentation reports
• Train, mentor, and develop field staff to enhance team performance

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in commercial construction supervision
• Strong knowledge of concrete foundations, flatwork, formwork, rebar installation, and finishing techniques
• Proven experience leading and managing construction crews and subcontractors
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools
• OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred
• Valid driver`s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
