Warehouse WorkerThis role is a hands-on General Warehouse Worker position focused on accurately packing, labeling, and inspecting products in a high-volume warehouse environment. You ensure that customers receive the correct items in clean, properly packed coolers while adhering to safety and quality standards throughout the fulfillment process.ResponsibilitiesPlace product into coolers, affix the correct labels to containers, and ensure customers receive the proper item(s) packed according to established procedures.Maintain and follow all company safety policies at all times while working in the warehouse.Visually inspect product, coolers, packaging, and dry ice for cleanliness, damage, or defects that could result in unsightly product or damaged goods being shipped to customers.Follow proper handling and packing procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage during storage and shipment.Lift dry ice from bins to the scale, verify weights, and ensure they meet specifications.Place dry ice from the conveyor into appropriately sized coolers according to order requirements.Identify and reject defective dry ice based on weight, specifications, and packaging standards.Distinguish between different package shipping modes and affix the appropriate shipper labels to each cooler.Perform quality control inspections of coolers to confirm that orders are accurate, properly packed, and correctly presented.Correct packing errors by obtaining the proper product or premium, placing it in the cooler, and accurately recording the error.Inspect coolers at a sustained rate of approximately 75 coolers per hour while maintaining quality and accuracy.Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality to support consistent warehouse operations.Perform general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, loading, unloading, assembly, labeling, and order fulfillment as needed.Use pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse tools to complete inventory, order picking, and production activities.Support warehouse inventory processes and general production and packing tasks to ensure timely order fulfillment.Essential SkillsAt least 18 years of age.Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.Ability to understand and follow directions accurately.Minimum of 6+ months experience as a General Warehouse Worker or in a similar warehouse role.Experience with packing, picking, and packaging in a warehouse or production environment.Experience with order picking and warehouse inventory activities.Ability to perform general labor and general production tasks in a warehouse setting.Capability to lift and handle dry ice and other materials safely.Ability to work at a sustained pace inspecting approximately 75 coolers per hour while maintaining quality.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience using RF scanners for picking, packing, or inventory tasks.Experience operating pallet jacks for moving product and coolers.Background in warehouse packing, loading, unloading, and fulfillment team activities.Familiarity with labeling, assembly, and general warehouse production processes.Why Work Here?You join a high-energy warehouse operation where your contribution directly supports timely and accurate customer deliveries. The facility operates at normal warehouse temperatures and is not a freezer environment. Shifts run from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, requiring comfort with extended hours in a production-focused environment. You work around moving equipment, coolers, dry ice, and standard warehouse tools such as pallet jacks and RF scanners, and you follow all safety guidelines to navigate the facility safely.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
