The 2nd shift Assembly Operator will be responsible for operating an automated machine that assembles individual components into a completed assembly. The Auto Assembly Operator will be required to use tools such as rulers and calipers, as well as lift heavy boxes and reels of tubing. The operator will also be responsible for job and work order changes based on the jobs that are needed to be ran, as well as training new Auto Assembly Operators.
Hours are Monday through Friday 3:00PM to 11:15PM
Daily pay offered upon hire!
Education/Experience
* High School Diploma/GED
* Previous experience in a production manufacturing setting preferred
Essential Functions

* Uses a scale properly to weigh parts
* Uses a ruler and calipers to measure parts
* Inspects the quality of parts produced
* Performs changeovers after a job is completed
* Changes parts out of the machines as necessary
* Follows appropriate safety policies and procedures of RDI as well as community and regulatory instruction. Utilizes all safety features of machinery, vehicles. Adheres to safety techniques as instructed. Corrects or reports safety hazards.
* Elevates other issues/concerns to appropriate party
* Completes all departmental documentation consistently, with attention to accuracy and timeliness
* Actively contributes to cleanliness and organization by keeping the work area tidy
* Willingly participates in training, puts training into practice quickly
* Trains fellow employees, including new hires and temporary employees as requested
* Reports all broken and malfunctioning equipment immediately.
* Maintains a good record of attendance and punctuality as defined by RDI's policy. Records all time worked accurately and consistently using the timekeeping method provided by RDI.

* This job operates in production manufacturing environment. Ear and eye protection PPE provided.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Frequent tasks involve climbing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting 10-50 lbs.
