Job Description: Field Technical Services Representative

Spears Manufacturing Co. is seeking a self-motivated and strong communicator for the position of Field Technical Services Representative. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to travel within the NE, IA, ND, and SD territories.

Qualifications:

• Residence in the Lincoln or Omaha, NE area
• Minimum of 2 years experience with pipe and fittings

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Call on engineers, contractors, and end users for technical assistance, training, and product specifications.
2. Conduct product education and training seminars for end users, designers, distributors, and contractors.
3. Assist with product specifications and code approvals for end users and design entities.
4. Support end users and contractors with jobsite failure analysis and hands-on work when required.
5. Handle difficult situations professionally and tactfully.

• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with quick resolution capabilities
• Willingness to travel within and outside the territory when required
