Job Summary

The Filler Operator is responsible for operating the Filler Machine and other equipment while monitoring productivity, quality, safety, efficiency, housekeeping, and assisting in other tasks as needed. This role involves the ability to rotate between Filling lines, keeping the operations going, and minimizing downtime and damaged or lost products.

Please note: We have First (1st) and Second (2nd) Shift positions available:

  • First (1st) Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30 am - 3:30 pm: $17.00 per hour
  • Second (2nd) Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 2:00 am: $17.00 per hour + $0.50 per hour shift premium = $17.50 per hour total
This is what you will do:
  • Operate all Filling and associated equipment on the lines proficiently after being trained.
  • Accurately complete necessary paperwork and/or Redzone checks.
  • Responsible for the knowledge and accuracy of production standard operating procedures.
  • Assist the production leader in resolving and focusing on areas of immediate attention.
  • Ability to perform all machine operator functions of the line.
  • Proficient at all production processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
  • Comply with all company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Rules and attend company-scheduled training.
  • Make recommendations for changeover, operational, quality, and efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor all adjustments, speeds, and moving components during runs.
  • Report problems, hazards, concerns, operator errors, and other issues to the Production Supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with others.
  • Perform work onsite.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
This is what you will need:
  • High School or equivalent.
  • One [1] year of manufacturing experience.
  • Previous production or assembly line experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • AS400 experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to operate filling equipment.
  • Ability to communicate with team members.
  • Ability to work under deadlines.
  • Ability to direct, communicate, delegate, problem solve, organize and prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently, and promptly, and make accurate decisions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English competently.
  • Ability to inspect work and make quality control decisions.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
