Summary:
The position is responsible for studying individual customer and industry business processes, identifying customer and key influencer objectives, and adapting the specified technology as needed to meet the customer's needs. The Business Solutions Analyst provides personalized interviews and consultation, customer training, software system configuration, and technical support to clients to create value and optimize their assets. This individual will act as the primary contact for assigned clients and coordinate all related client service activities on behalf of both the client and Micro.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use system analysis processes to understand customer procedures and business goals.
- Configure the MICRO Technology system and develop programs, specifications, and procedures to achieve client goals efficiently.
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms to convey requirements between the system, animal health, and client/veterinarian goals.
- Coordinate schedules and complete work orders related to system installation, including hardware specifications and coordination with the Field Hardware IT team.
- Handle system configuration, data loading, quality assurance, testing, and client training on the system.
- Train clients on product inventory management and FDA compliance guidelines.
- Install software packages including operating systems, databases, and productivity tools onto client computers.
- Develop and communicate operating procedures related to the Micro Technology system.
- Understand client requirements, design tailored system solutions, and create business requirement documents for development teams.
- Evaluate and test software prototypes and final products to ensure client requirements are met.
- Modify system software and train clients on updates.
- Implement remote access connectivity.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of the system and hardware, suggesting enhancements.
- Monitor system performance, present findings, and advise clients on process improvements.
- Detect potential software and process issues and collaborate with development teams to address them.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Associate's degree or 2 years of college in Animal Science, Feedlot Management, Nutrition, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience in a feed yard, especially in feed management.
- Proficiency with PCs, operating systems, databases, and related software.
- Knowledge of cattle and agricultural processes.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the U.S.
- Overnight travel up to 50% required.
