Assist with further development of applications. Serve as the primary contact between the vendor and IT Operations staff, working with management, project teams, and system engineers to resolve issues and deliver projects.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Research, test, and deploy upgrades and releases following change management processes.Provide tier-three support for escalated issues from First Support and collaborate with IT team members and engineers for resolution.Understand interactions of supported applications with technologies like Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, VMware, and networking protocols.Use PowerShell and scripting tools to automate processes, generate reports, and troubleshoot applications.Provide expertise and training for end users.Create and maintain system documentation, including procedures, diagrams, recovery plans, audits, and test plans.Assist in creating SLAs and BCPs for applications.Translate business requirements into system specifications and communicate with vendors.Monitor and report on system performance issues.Recommend system improvements based on business needs.Lead meetings and presentations.Support project efforts independently or as part of a team.Serve as primary or backup system administrator for applications.Work after hours or weekends as needed.Qualifications Successful candidates must perform all duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent. Industry certifications like CompTIA A+, MTA, MCSE, CCNA are acceptable alternatives.Technical familiarity with core infrastructure including Active Directory, Windows Server/OS, PowerShell, Middleware, Database, Networking, and Application topologies.Experience with SolarWinds or similar network monitoring tools.Banking software experience is preferred.Skills & Requirements Strong communication skills, professionalism, self-motivation, independence, organizational and analytical skills, and a solid technical and business knowledge base. Ability to quickly learn new applications is essential.Language Skills Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate effectively with managers, clients, and the public.Mathematical Skills Proficiency in basic math, rates, ratios, percentages, and data interpretation.Reasoning Ability Problem-solving skills, data analysis, and ability to interpret complex instructions.Physical Demands Regular walking, talking, listening; occasional standing, sitting, handling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision.Work Environment Moderate noise level.
