Description

Budget of Omaha, NE, is looking to bring on a Manager Trainee for the airport and surrounding metro area. This position will assist our management team with running the day-to-day operations while preparing to assume a managerial role. The position may require working across multiple sites. Open availability for evenings and weekends is essential.

Job Duties

• Assist Managers with overall rental agency operations
• Oversee and ensure proper functioning of operational departments
• Monitor fleet and product flow to meet customer needs and reservation schedules
• Operate the computer counter system (manage rental contracts, modifications, printing, updating manifests, etc.)
• Maintain daily inventory, both physical and computerized
• Promote and sell coverage options and upgrades (insurance, GPS, upgrades, etc.)
• Perform opening and closing procedures, ensuring security measures
• Handle office duties: answering phones, ordering supplies, photocopying, routine inquiries
• Prepare reports and document daily activities
• Address customer inquiries regarding charges, damages, directions, etc.
• Support team environment by assisting other agents and locations
• Involve in coaching and educating team members
• Assist with training, supervise, and motivate staff

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Clean driving record in the past 3 years (some exceptions may apply)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
