Annual Salary: The estimated annual base salary as a new hire for this position ranges from $64,800 - $76,000. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

FSLA Status: Exempt

Work Location: This is a remote position, with the option to work in the FACT Omaha Headquarters office on a hybrid or on-site basis. We are unable to sponsor work visas or hire applicants residing outside the United States.

Job Summary: The Accreditation Coordinator works both individually and within a team that is charged with administering FACT's Accreditation program, the cornerstone of the organization. The position provides direct assistance to programs seeking accreditation as well as FACT volunteers who perform inspections as part of the accreditation process. In addition, Accreditation Coordinators provide technical guidance and data reporting to key FACT Headquarters (HQ) Team members and various FACT committees. Together with all other FACT colleagues, the Accreditation Coordinator is expected to respect and strive to uphold the Team's Chosen Core Values. This is a fully remote position, with the option to work in the FACT Omaha Headquarters office on a hybrid or on-site basis. Key Accountabilities and Duties:

  • Service and administration of applicants' accreditation processes
    • Conducts comprehensive reviews of accreditation applications and related documentation.
    • Facilitates accurate and timely submission of required application materials.
    • Provides expertise and resources to applicants, accredited programs, and volunteers.
    • Prepares written reports of inspection team findings and presents them to the Accreditation Committee for review and determination of outcomes.
    • Prepares accreditation decision letters and accreditation award letters, ensuring clear and accurate messaging.
  • Documentation and Review
    • Maintains internal databases and other documents including policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Reviews records for accuracy and completeness and assists with tracking and trending of information to contribute to accreditation process improvement.
  • Committee Input / Participation
    • Provides information to FACT committees that support the accreditation process and standards development.
    • Participates in FACT committees that support the accreditation process and standards development as necessary.
  • Event Participation / Support
    • Provide support and accreditation expertise at educational events and conference exhibits; travel as required.

Education and Experience for Success (*required):
  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare or biological sciences is required. *
  • Experience in clinical or academic research, nursing, medical technology, laboratory, or other healthcare-related professions is required. *
  • A background in medical and/or technical aspects of hematopoietic cell transplantation is preferred.
