Position Summary
The Research Development Specialist position leads a dynamic team of faculty investigators in the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center (FPBCC) to develop innovative scientific proposals that reflect to the funding agency priorities and the funding announcement's intent and is aligned with FPBCC's mission. Primary focus is on expanding a portfolio of cancer-focused NIH grants. This position will work in a rich scientific environment within the FPBCC and the University of Nebraska Medical Center and closely interact with colleagues, graduate students, postdocs and faculty members to help coordinate strategic research projects by facilitating teamwork and meeting deliverables to enable new funding opportunities. The position will also work with junior investigators to develop R01 and the like applications.

Doctoral degree
